IN Greythorn we have many Italian families. Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this time of devastation in Italy.
An earthquake along the border regions of Umbria, Lazio and Le Marche has caused damage and the loss of life. It was felt from Bologna to Naples and hit villages in the mountains. Roads and infrastructure have been tested and access is hampered.
Together with the loss of life has been the destruction of early renaissance buildings and structures that are part of the remaining fabric of antiquity. We remember in prayer those who have lost their lives, their families and extended relatives throughout the world.
