On Sunday 5th August, the St Bridget’s youth gathered in the narthex for a night of fun, games, enriching spiritual life, singing and food! We started off with a delicious meal prepared by generous parishioners. Then we got to know each other by playing some party games.
Later, Alex told us about his recent mission to a rural country town in Southern India. He raised money throughout the year, and then after he finished his final exams, set off with some other people from his school, to build a classroom for a school in India. It’s great to know that there’s a lot of mission work going on within our parish!
Then we finished off the night singing and praising with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament led by Joey Branganza.
