Men’s Night Gathering
THE parish had a very successful night last Wednesday, Aug 24. About 25 men came and some new faces. The talk by Father Kevin McGovern was relevant for many of us concerned with an advanced care plan for our future. The interaction between legal, medical and ethical minds at the dinner was enlightening. Thank s […]
Migrant And Refugee Week August 22-28
NEXT Sunday August 28 is observed as Migrant and Refugee Week. Pope Francis recently stated “Migrants and refugees are our brothers and sisters in search of a better life, far away from poverty, hunger exploitation and unjust distribution of the planet’s resources which are meant to be shared equitably by all. Don’t we all want […]
Challenges
THE most serious human and environmental challenge today continues to be the presence of poverty caused by the wants of the few having priority over the needs of the many, regardless of their species. So serious is this issue of disparity that every international and national gathering has it as one of its meeting agenda […]

We live in “best of times”
THIS is, after all, God’s time for us. It is the place where all that has gone before culminates, and all that is in front of us starts showing its promise. Through our faith, we also intimately know that it is the time of God’s incarnate Word still with us, the Spirit breathing in and […]
Sacrament of Confirmation
MONSIGNOR Anthony Ireland will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to 21 children – 10 from the parish Sacramental program and 11 from St Bridget’s school – on Friday, August 12 at 7pm. As we congratulate these children, please also remember them in your prayers.
Register As A Parishioner
IF you attend St Bridget’s on a regular basis but not registered as a parishioner, we need you to commit to the parish community in a positive way by registering as a parishioner. Please complete a Registration Census Card located in the narthex and hand it to Fr Dennis.

In the narthex you will find envelopes marked Please Offer Holy Mass. These will be used for all Mass requests. Please complete an envelope, and place it […]
