THE pews are now in the Church and some clean up of the area has taken place. The present arrangement of the pews is not perfect but the shape of the space and the moving of the organ have further created alignment problems. It is the best model we have.
The tacky coverings are gone but some pews still have kneelers. Unfortunately there is no money for putting covered pews in the church.
What remains to be done is cosmetic, but there will be no Mass in the Church until November 29, 10am Mass, with the blessing by Bishop Curtin.
By that time the stone bench tops for the sacristy, laminex for other areas and linoleum will all be in place and the areas of the church all cleaned. Masses on Sunday, 29th will be as usual but, this is only to accommodate people who cannot come to the Mass of Blessing. I would hope that many people could see their way clear to attend the 10.00AM Mass.

The Refurbishment Foundation is now at $99,000. This is a wonderful sum but donations can still be made either to me, the Office or through Direct Debit. If donating by cheque please make the cheque out to St Bridget’s Parish.
