IN the latest school newsletter to parents and friends of St Bridget’s the Principal, Paul Dwyer, announced the School’s NAPLAN results.
They were quite outstanding and point, in some measure, to the value of smaller group learning environments and professionalism in teaching and learning situations.
Our School has a friendly and peaceful atmosphere. The children are valued and their moral and religious educational needs are seriously addressed. Different class groups attend Mass every week and they get to know about the Church, the Sacraments and even meet a priest.
I realise that the school has many alumni throughout Melbourne but, our relative obscurity, off the main road, sometimes means that we are overlooked as an excellent educational choice for parents seeking a school.
Please be aware as parishioners that your recommendation of the Parish school in talking with friends and other residents could open up the possibility of a quality education for children seeking a school in 2016.
