THE parish will trial changes to the way Lectors read at Mass.
There will now be:
- A Commentator – will introduce the Mass and read the Prayers of the Faithful from the church nave.
- A Lector – will read the Scripture readings, Psalm and Gospel Acclamation.
These changes will apply to the Sunday Masses only. There are insufficient volunteers to read at the Saturday night vigil Mass to implement the same process.
