MICHELLE Verna will be the new principal at Saint Bridget’s Catholic Primary School.

She is currently the acting principal at Saint Thomas the Apostle Primary School, Blackburn.
Ms Verna holds a Bachelor in Education (1991); Post-Graduate Diploma (Student Welfare) (2003) and Master of Educational Leadership (2012).
She has considerable classroom experience across the primary school with educational leadership in mathematics, literacy, religious education and student wellbeing.
In school administration, Ms Verna has been a deputy principal (Wellbeing/Student Services) and acting principal.
She is active in her parish (Parish Pastoral Council/Special Minister) and volunteering (SVDP soup van).
Fr Dennis says she is an excellent choice for St Bridget’s with a wide depth of experience in the classroom, attentive to the special needs of children and with good communication skills with parents and the wider community.
In welcoming her to Saint Bridget’s School and to the wider faith community, Fr Dennis wished Ms Verna every blessing for her ministry to our community.
