IT has been a tradition of Greythorn to have an Annual General Meeting of the parish. I have not encountered this practice before and it is not currently the practice in other parishes.
At this AGM, reports on parish life were presented, though not read. In addition, a guest speaker was invited.
Since the refurbishment is going to take most of November to complete and because it is not a usual practice, I am suggesting that reports from the parish activities be distributed but that the AGM be discontinued. I am happy to hear parishioners with alternative suggestions but, as it stands, there will not be an AGM at St Bridget’s.
