The PPC met Thursday, July 30, with Rick Canale in the chair and Andrew Mariadason as secretary.
Our Agenda was wide. There was discussion of the Stewardship Program, especially the Time and Talent component. The conclusion was that, whether financial or in terms of parish involvement, much work was still to be done.
I updated the Council on the Refurbishment. It is proceeding as planned. Currently I am looking at the Lighting design proposed. It is very impressive and beautiful but is stretching the budget.
The Liturgy discussion reported on their ‘brainstorming’ session. A four person Liturgy Committee was established to start in September. The priority of Music in the liturgy was affirmed.
