BISHOP Terry Curtin, former parish priest of St Bridget’s church, presided at the Mass, Nov29,  at which the refurbished church was blessed.

Parish administrator Fr Dennis Rochford and two other priests concelebrated at the Mass.

Most parishioners were seeing the refurbished church for the first time. Notable in the refurbishment is the modern cross, ambo and baptismal font at the front  of the church

A reception in the school hall followed, at which parishioners enjoyed a light lunch and were able to catch  up with their former parish priest, Bishop Curtin.
