Baptism
The preference is that Baptism is celebrated on Sundays during the Mass.
The ritual of the Sacrament may be by immersion in the water or by pouring. Both parents are interviewed by the Parish Priest and are then prepared for the celebration of the sacrament.
Confirmation
Confirmation is usually celebrated by the Regional Bishop on a date chosen by him.
Children at St. Bridget’s School prepare at year 6. Children attending Non-catholic Schools are required to attend comprehensive lessons prepared by catechists.

Eucharist
Pupils attending St Bridget’s School are prepared in year 4. Pupils attending non-Catholic schools are prepared by catechists. Dates and details will be announced in the News at right.
Children must have undertaken their First Reconciliation prior to First Eucharist. Pupils are prepared for First Reconciliation in year 3.

Reconciliation
Each Saturday 5.30pm.
Communion of the Sick
Each Sunday morning Holy Communion is taken to the sick or those unable to attend Mass.
