The Parish School Board met on Wednesday night, April 27. A new contract is being negotiated with Camp Australia for the after-School care. This is because of declining numbers and finding finance to pay the contract.
The Principal, Michele Verna, reported on tree cutting and removal as OHS issue. This has been completed. She also updated the Board on the school website and enrolments. An Art teacher has been employed for the School – Ms Karly Wills.
St Bridget’s is also developing a choir and currently has eight singers. The first school/parish Mass is this Sunday, 6th Sunday in Easter, at 5.30PM.
Their cake staff fund-raising has done well both at Belmore Rd (Balwyn East) and Greythorn and the Sports Legends @ St Bridget’s, a major fundraiser, is this Saturday evening. I look forward to a happy and successful evening
