THE Vicar General, Monsignor Greg Bennet, has informed me that the Archbishop has appointed Father Brendan Lane, the previous Rector of Corpus Christi, as a temporary appointment to the Greythorn parish.
Father Lane will take up his appointment from Sunday April 16 (Easter Sunday).
I am delighted that such an experienced man in pastoral ministry has been appointed to Greythorn but stress that it is temporary until the Archbishop examines more closely the needs of the parish.
