{"id":1244,"date":"2015-09-26T17:00:46","date_gmt":"2015-09-26T06:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stbridgetsgreythorn.org.au\/?p=1244"},"modified":"2015-09-26T14:12:21","modified_gmt":"2015-09-26T03:12:21","slug":"from-the-past","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kmgit.com\/testbuzz\/from-the-past\/","title":{"rendered":"From the past"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IN 1980, at the beginning of the Church building, the following was written:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Actually, what has been built is rather more than a church; more truly it might be described as a church community centre, offering a range of facilities and features.<br \/>\nThis &#8216;House of the Church&#8217; reflects careful planning, for which merit is undoubtedly due to the architects.<br \/>\nGreater, though, is the praise due to Father O&#8217;Shea, who, through tireless effort\u00a0 has, within a comparatively short time from the date of his appointment, planned and brought to completion what we may confidently expect to be regarded as a gem of modern ecclesiastical construction.<br \/>\nThe highest praise, as ever, is due to the Almighty Father, who has brought us all, and our House of the Church, to this present time.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We do indeed build on the foundations of fine generous men and women.
