THE front plastered wall\u00a0in the sanctuary\u00a0was finished last week, Oct 9. A very good result considering that the\u00a0whole wall needed to be rebuilt\u00a0owing to termite damage.<\/p>\n

The wall carpet was stripped from the narthex (it was badly marked\u00a0and stained) and the carpet from around the circular support\u00a0is\u00a0removed. The wall was damaged by the glue and could not be saved. Plaster has replaced it.<\/p>\n

In the Church, the area around the\u00a0tabernacle,\u00a0has been given a feature wall to emphasise the lighting and break with the monotony of the brick.<\/p>\n

All bench tops, including those in the rest rooms, and the floorings, will be replaced to get red of the bright red and mustard colours that we thought to be\u00a0damaged by\u00a0water\u00a0and\u00a0unsuitable.<\/p>\n
