Together with the parable of the Prodigal Son, theses\u00a0parables form the two pillars of Christianity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Brigidine\u00a0 Sr Brigid Arthur from the\u00a0Brigidine\u00a0Asylum Seeker Project to come and address us about the needs of refugees and how we can work to address them on <strong>Wednesday October 14 at 7.30pm<\/strong> in the school library.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Parishioners\u00a0interested in the project are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Information material\u00a0from Catholic Social services Victoria and from the\u00a0Brigidines\u00a0will be available.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The aim of the evening will be to develop concrete ideas and strategies about how we can be take in and support a refugee family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Also Catholic Social services Victoria is hosting a one day workshop on <strong>Wednesday October\u00a014<\/strong> entitled \u00a0<strong>\u2018Strengthening\u00a0Parish Support for Asylum Seekers\u2019.\u00a0<\/strong>It will be held at St Ambrose Community Centre, 287 Sydney Rd, Brunswick from 9am \u2013 3.30pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; THIS excellent initiative at Saint Bridget&#8217;s Greythorn, emphasises the Christian emphasis on the dignity of the human person.
