BISHOP Terry Curtin, former parish priest of St Bridget’s church, presided at the Mass, Nov29,\u00a0 at which the refurbished church was blessed.<\/p>\n

Parish administrator Fr Dennis Rochford and two other priests concelebrated at the Mass.<\/p>\n

The 10am was the first Mass in the refurbished church since September.<\/p>\n

Most parishioners were seeing the refurbished church for the first time. Notable in the refurbishment is the modern cross, ambo and baptismal font at the front\u00a0 of the church<\/p>\n

A reception in the school hall followed, at which parishioners enjoyed a light lunch and were able to catch\u00a0 up with their former parish priest, Bishop Curtin.<\/p>\n
