This report has the potential to see physician assisted suicide become legal in Victoria.<\/p>\n<p>A bill could go before parliament by the end of the year and if it is passed it is expected to be introduced 18 months later. The bill will go to a conscience vote.<\/p>\n<p>An information session is being held by the Archdiocese to inform parishioners of the implications of this legislation.<\/p>\n<p>The evening will include presentations from leaders in ethics, political strategy, health and palliative care and will provide an overview of the most up-to-date information and how we propose to respond to this challenge.<\/p>\n<p>More information can be found at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cam.org.au\/lifemarriagefamily\/Culture-of-Life\/Euthanasia\"><strong>Archdiocese, Life, Marriage and Family website<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wednesday.
